One Month Old!!

Weighing in at 9 lbs. 13 oz. and measuring 21 inches long we have reached the one month mark. And I should not forget to mention that his head circumference is in the 90th percentile...a true Giddens' boy. He has been a fantastic baby, sleeping and eating just like he is suppose to. In fact, last night he "forgot" his 1 a.m. feeding and I woke at 3 to "remind" him he is not old enough yet to go past 5 hours before eating again. It was a nice mistake for mom though. :) We love you Little Man and are so happy to have you as part of our family!

Little Mama

Since before Mr. Luke arrived here, Abigail began making her long list of all the things she would do for the new baby. Very high on her list was feeding Luke a bottle. With each of our children we have practiced a bottle just in case we had to have it at some point. Oh what an excited little mama she was that this time had come! She has also been so wonderful at retrieving diapers, giving pacifiers, cleaning off tables after dinner, lots of holding, and tons and tons of kisses. It is so sweet to have her. We love you big sister!~

Lightroom Rocks our World!!

Tory has been using a program that is new to us called "Lightroom". It enables us to make our pictures look way cooler. He recently spent some time on some of our latest pics of the kids and I picked out some of my favorites to show off. I think he is a little more artsy than he will take credit for. :)

Good Friends, Fun Times, Beautiful Princesses

Though I am a little behind, I could not pass up posting some pictures from probably the most royal party to be had at the Giddens' castle. This royal gala was truly a hit and the little birthday princess was perfectly pleased I think. She was actually a little disappointed that her friends were not coming over again to do it on her actual birthday. Mom is still learning. And thanks to our favorite Marshman's for treating us with your mad photography skills. You guys are truly amazing!

The Ant Man is Coming!!!!

We have been fighting these boogers for weeks on weeks now.  We've tried spraying inside and outside the perimeter of the house (at least 6 times), Tory has put out ant pellets in the yard and around the house (at least twice), he has sprayed bug spray throughout the entire yard, we have four ant hotels in our kitchen, and I bleach the kitchen counters every night making sure there are not any dirty dishes left out.  You would think that if one of those poisons didn't kill them that a combination of them would.  Nope, they are resilient!  So we have finally come down to calling in the professionals.  We hate to do it, don't want to have to spend the money for it...but we are going crazy.  No lie, I think they have multiplied in the last couple of days...there can be about 50 of them on the counter, we clean them all off, and within 20 minutes there are 50 more.  Craziness!!  Oh, and you know what the ant lady said on the phone?  "Don't smash them or spray them because they let off a smell that causes more of them to come."  Aaaahhhh!!!  Can I make it 24 hours letting them live!!??
