Headed home!

All paperwork and Visa is in hand! They will be in on their way home in a few short hours. Got to be the best anniversary gift EVER!

Embassy Day

9 months old today!!

Tory said Embassy went perfect this morning. Hannah's visa should be ready tomorrow and they will start the journey HOME!

(Tory is having to send pictures via his phone while there, but we will post more of "the trip" when he returns.)

A little part of an email from Tory I thought I would share:

"Your daughter is precious. She hasn't whined or cried one bit. She smiles all the time and loves interacting with me. She feeds herself and doesn't really want a whole lot of help with the bottle. She hasn't let that teether thing out of her sight. She waves bye bye all the time and does some kind of crazy head bobble back and forth at random moments, like she's dancing. I believe Hewitt taught her how to do the wave and bobble. Also, when she is sitting in my lap she leans her head up against my shirt and starts rubbing her hair on my shirt. I think she likes the sound."

I may burst.

Officially in our arms FOREVER!

The guys have made it safely to Ethiopia! They got there, took a quick nap, and just went to GET HANNAH! Tory says she is doing so good! He said she has gotten so big and is quite the chunk. Rejoicing in what God has done! Thank you to everyone for your prayers for our family. I will continue to update as I hear more.

Getting Hannah: THE Schedule

By request of Aunt Janie, whom I thought had a great idea, here is a little run-down of what the next 5 days looks like for our 2 guys and little lady...

Friday: 8:30 p.m. Tory and Toby met up in Washington D.C. (about 26 hours after the original plan...Uncle Toby is proving to be quiet the trooper.)

Saturday: 12:00 noon Depart D. C. with direct flight into Addis Ababa, Ethiopia (12 1/2 hour flight.)

Sunday: 7:45 a.m. Arrive in Addis (Our Midnight on Saturday)

The guest house driver will pick them up from the airport, take them to the guest house, and at that point give them an estimated time he will take them to the transition home to pick-up Miss Hannah. Probably sometime Sunday morning.

Monday: 9:00 a.m. Embassy appointment

They will be at the U.S. Embassy anywhere from 30 minutes-3 hours. With Hannah. The actual interview lasts about 5 minutes. Given official birth certificate and adoption deed.

Tuesday: Given Hannah's visa.
10:15 p.m. Depart Addis Ababa, Ethiopia (3:15 p.m. EST) stopping in Rome for fuel (17 1/2 hour flight)
Wednesday: 8:40 a.m. Arrive Washington D.C.

11:15 a.m. Depart D.C.

12:45 Arrive in Cincinnati where the kids and I will be waiting to welcome them HOME!!!

This is the day the Lord has made!

Dessert & Display

To finish off the end of each semester of co-op, we have what is called a "Dessert & Display Night". All families gather the last Thursday evening of classes and "present" what they have learned or made that semester. Here are a few pics of what art, choir, ballet, and preschool looked like for us this year. I do have to say the kids have loved being a part of Home for His Glory co-op while being here in Louisville. They have looked forward to their classes and gathering with their friends each and every week.

Thats right! We are moving! To Wellington, TEXAS! Tory has been candidating with First Baptist Church in Wellington for a couple of months. We have made two trips there, the people are amazing, and WE ARE WAY EXCITED to announce that he has been called as pastor of FBC, Wellington!! We plan to be there this June/July and will be able to make more definite moving plans when we are cleared to bring our Ethiopian beauty home.
