Girl Talk

It has begun...she is crazy about talking on the phone. She can push the right consecutive buttons on my cell phone to call each set of grandparents and now she has learned how to get through to two of her dearest friends, Georgia and Karis. (And I have gotten a few "returned calls" that I did not even know about...sorry Alice.) As I sat and watched her talk on the phone to her girlfriends yesterday, I swear 4 years just flew by right in front of me. This is all happening oh so fast.

And she is good at this phone talking thing but the funniest part of all is watching her while she talks. She is all over the house. And dramatic. And she is getting pretty good at the multi-tasking too. Though she may be outnumbered 2:1, she is figuring out this girl thing very quickly.

4 months...yesterday

Just this week I was telling Tory how crazy it was that Luke was actually here. Everything flies by so fast that it seems like I should still be pregnant. But what a HUGE joy this little guy has been these past four months. I keep telling everyone that I thought my first two chickadees were "easy babies" but Luke has far surpassed that. He is the smiliest, laughs alot, cuddles when you want, sits quietly when you need him to, eats well, sleeps through the night, takes anything his bro and sis throw his way, laid back kind of kid. Today even, at his 4 month check up, he literally laughed the entire time Dr. Hart was examining him. THEN, when they gave him his shot...he laughed! (The second one was a different story.) Now don't get me wrong, having 3 kids can be kinda, okay really, no, really really crazy at times. But we love it. They are all such a joy, and we LOVE getting to be their parents.

Happy 4 months, Little Man. Thanks for being so fun!

Zoo Day...

Pajama Night @ Awana Cubbies!!!

This is Abigail's second year to participate in A.W.A.N.A.S. (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed) and she absolutely LOVES it. Awanas is a program that teaches gospel truths and incorporates scripture memory (aprox. 120 verses in the 2 year "Cubbies" preschooler program) on a weekly basis. It still amazes me all that you can introduce to a child and they will just soak it right up. It was such a fun night and it nicely worked out that it was my night to volunteer and help.

Nate of course wanted to participate too.
