One of Abigail's good friends, Matt, celebrates his 3rd birthday this week and we were invited to partake in the water festivities today. Brett and Lindsey are some very dear friends of ours from Texas and they have two handsome boys Matt and Seth. We had a great time and wanted to share some of the pics. As you will notice, Nate is ready to move in with them. They have every push toy and car you can think of. (Note to Nathan's grandparents.) Abigail was fired up about smashing the pinata with a bat and then getting to keep tons of candy. I think she would have slept with her red bag of candy if I would have let her. Thanks Hoyle's for a great party!!

We are using Sonlight curriculum. We heard about it through several friends and then ended up picking it because it focuses on reading. Isaac LOVES to read and we thought that it would be a perfect fit. It really has been great for him. Last year, we used Abeka and it was like pulling teeth for our family. Also, it is Christian curriculum that is fairly broad in scope. In other words, it doesn't shield students from knowing that their are other cultures and world views. But it does present Christianity as TRUTH. If you end up being more interested let me know. I'll walk you through it.
By the way, the birthday pictures are very cute!!
