The Owl Who Did Not Know Her Name

There once was an owl, her name was Hannah.  Hannah was a baby owl who had one sister and two brother.  Her sister was the oldest, her name was Abigail.  Hannah's two brothers were named Nathan and Luke.  Hannah was the youngest in the family  One day Hannah's parents left to find some food.  Abigail could fly but did not go.  She stayed in the nest to look after the other owls.  The boys were fighting.  Hannah got hit in the face and passed out.  When she woke up she could not remember her name.  Abi called at her but Hannah walked on.  When she was older everybody called her but she walked on.  

Abigail had left for owlege.  Hannah was walking into a restaurant one day and everybody called her.  Hannah soon could not take it anymore.  She yelled, "Why does everybody keep saying 'Hannah! Hannah!'"  Abigail was there.  She finally told her that her name was Hannah.  Hannah said, "Why didn't you tell me that years ago?"  Nathan was there too.  He said, "Because it was so funny."  Hannah was so mad she punched him in the face.  when he woke up he could not remember his name.  Hannah said, "Nathan," but he did not answer.

AWANA Grand Prix 2013

This was the event used as our closing ceremonies for AWANA this year.  It was so much fun for everyone and a great experience for the kids in competing and winning, competing and losing, and family teamwork.  Everyone had such a great time and Team Giddens' came home with a 1st & 2nd in design and 1st & 2nd in speed (out of two different clubs).

For some reason, I have been in serious hair mode for this chick the last week or so.  I am learning so much through online blogs.  Apparently it is good to have her hair in a "protective" style most of the time.  So here's to the beginning of lots of hair do's!  And 2.5 hours later we have this...
