This is what life is like for a little guy with two older siblings. Fast paced...in your face...never a dull moment kind of life. I really was trying to get a good picture for the grandparents to see their newest at his chattiest, but we will have to try again during "naptime". So be looking for a post to come. For now...

My boy is getting clever on me.

Do you see those precious chubby little cheeks? Well, ya, I was fooled too. They are FULL OF EGGS!! Last night, 30 minutes after dinner and after he had the fruit snacks that I told him he could have after his carrots, I found the carrots...cheeked. Then this morning, after he "ate" the eggs he was asked to before he got down to play, I found them...cheeked. I think he is trying to pull a fast one on me. I will win though. And Nate, your chubby little cheeks are so so precious to me.

Fun with old friends.

A friend of mine from high school and her two sweet boys came to visit us this week from what we learned was only 2 1/2 hours away. We had a fantastic time at the zoo, sharing snow cones, playing in the mud, and becoming princesses and super heroes. The kids were hilarious to watch together. Abigail and Eli enjoyed every minute and got along perfectly. Nate and Desi on the other hand were a little fiesty. Throw the ball in the pool, the other throws it out. Shut the door, the other opens it. I will catch the ball, no I will catch the ball. You get my point. Hilarious though. Thanks Noelle, Eli, and Desi for a great time...and thanks Jeffrey for sharing your precious family with us. We love you all!
