Christmas card: A preview
So here is a little preview with some shots of the kids I took the other morning for our Christmas cards. It was a rush around, last minute, should we even do it, they will probably be late, we can't not do it kind of thing. But I was excited about the results. My friend Rachel has been showin' me a few things in the camera world so this is really for her...my schooling. :)

Luke: 18 months
November 2010: Gettin' some Texas football
We took Little Man for his 18th month old well visit yesterday. He got an A+ with ease. He continues to prove to be one of the toughest Giddens' yet sitting at 20th percentile in his height, 80th in weight, and 75th in head circumference. I just love love this guy. He has got personality flowing from every part of him. He is developing such a love for his big sister and big brother, always ready to do anything and everything they are doing. He is all boy and knows and can make every sound of any piece of machinery with wheels. He adds to any and every conversation with anyone. He has the best bottom lip of anyone I know and it gets Mama almost every time. And his smile, oh his smile will make you melt all over. And he loves to throw it out for anyone. In fact, when he got his shots yesterday, he cried oh so hard for about 10 seconds but then jumped out of my arms, crawled up in the chair with a book and looked up at the nurse with the biggest grin of contentment. Hilarity! He continues to be Mama's boy in which I will hold on to as long as I can, but Daddy is beginning to put up a good fight. :)
We love you bunches, Fella. So proud to be your family!

Snow Day
Tory has been on "vacation" this week from Chase in order to take a class at the seminary (only 5 hours left after this week!). It happened that we got some snow on Sunday and therefore classes were delayed until the afternoon. So we bundled up, headed out in the 19 degree weather and hit the hills.

Let me tell you about my sweet Abi. That girl is always game. The boys and I headed back to the car in about 20 minutes but not her. She didn't care how cold it was or how bad it hurt to hit the snow at the bottom of the hill...she was eating it up. Love her.

This one was a little blurry but I must leave it as proof to Nate that he was having a blast. He is the kid that begs and pleads to put on shorts and a t-shirt dead winter and snow on the ground. Being bundled was killin' him.
Great Mornin'!
