4 months...yesterday

Just this week I was telling Tory how crazy it was that Luke was actually here. Everything flies by so fast that it seems like I should still be pregnant. But what a HUGE joy this little guy has been these past four months. I keep telling everyone that I thought my first two chickadees were "easy babies" but Luke has far surpassed that. He is the smiliest, laughs alot, cuddles when you want, sits quietly when you need him to, eats well, sleeps through the night, takes anything his bro and sis throw his way, laid back kind of kid. Today even, at his 4 month check up, he literally laughed the entire time Dr. Hart was examining him. THEN, when they gave him his shot...he laughed! (The second one was a different story.) Now don't get me wrong, having 3 kids can be kinda, okay really, no, really really crazy at times. But we love it. They are all such a joy, and we LOVE getting to be their parents.

Happy 4 months, Little Man. Thanks for being so fun!

Zoo Day...

Pajama Night @ Awana Cubbies!!!

This is Abigail's second year to participate in A.W.A.N.A.S. (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed) and she absolutely LOVES it. Awanas is a program that teaches gospel truths and incorporates scripture memory (aprox. 120 verses in the 2 year "Cubbies" preschooler program) on a weekly basis. It still amazes me all that you can introduce to a child and they will just soak it right up. It was such a fun night and it nicely worked out that it was my night to volunteer and help.

Nate of course wanted to participate too.

More Kelley Time!

And we read stories with Mr. Incredible and Snow White. It was a fairy tale of a week...

...including a trip to fairy tale land. This picture is one of the 3 floors of this library. The floor you see is ENTIRELY children's books. Incredibly jealous at this point and we had not even gotten to the Cinderella marionette show yet.

I must not close without sharing a little bit about these two guys. Inseparable. Desi was so interested in Luke. He was constantly asking about him when Luke was napping, holding him when he was awake, and at one point when Luke was laying on the bed crying and we were all busy helping the other kids, Desi literally paced the hallway saying, "Get him, get him, get him?" Then when I went to pick Luke up I found several balls laying around him. One of Desi's favorite things is playing catch and he just knew that would make Luke feel better too. Absolutely adorable that boy!

Crazy Fun Time!!

The school had an AMAZING Fall kick-off celebration tonight which included about 5 blow-up slides/bouncers, candy, carnival rides/games, face paint, BMX bike show, candy, burgers, and more candy...all to be followed up with one really nice firework show. And the best part of it all, it was all FREE! Thanks, School, for a great evening!

You may be wondering what all these tests are for, if not then stop reading HERE. So, I have been very frustrated with the quality of my pictures when I upload them to blogger. See, we have this very nice program called "Lightroom" in which we can edit our photos with great detail. Whats the point though when blogger dumbs down the quality. Having some very talented photography friends (thanks Jen and Rach) I am very excited to say I think we have figured it out. Now I just have to learn HTML. AHHHHHH!

Daddy is here!

We have missed our Daddy so much lately. Literally from the moment we got out of the van after our trip to the beach, Tory has hit the floor running. Work has kept him on his toes with the fair being in town for the week, school has begun full force, and though these are both great things we have missed him dearly. BUT, not today, and not tomorrow. Nope, he is all ours. And we are going to love on him like there's no tomorrow for two whole days. Get ready, Daddy, we cannot be contained any longer!!!
